Airport Transfer

Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos (ATH) stands as one of the most modern airports globally, renowned for its outstanding ground services. Since its inception in March 2001, it has garnered numerous international awards and distinctions, earning the admiration of its visitors who have deemed it one of Europe's most functional and comfortable airports. Situated 33 km southeast of Athens, ATH seamlessly connects to the suburban railway and the metro, serving as the originating point for numerous bus routes to central Athens. These modes of public transportation also provide convenient access to the ports of Piraeus, Rafina, and Lavrion, catering especially to passengers intending to depart for the islands on the same day.

To get to the city center with public transportation, you can use the metro line M3, or bus line X95. Both alternatives will take you to Syntagma square, which is located in front of the 19th-century Old Royal Palace, housing the Greek Parliament since 1934. Syntagma Square is the most important square of modern Athens from both a historical and social point of view, at the heart of commercial activity and Greek politics. For more information about access and public transportation to and from airport visit the official page of AIA.

Alternatively, you can use a taxi to the city center. We advise to use FREENOW or UBER if you prefer this means of transportation.
